Born into the wealthy and prestigious Wilmott family in Liseria, Chrysan’s life should have been one of privilege and comfort. But behind the glamour of her family’s empire, Chrysan endured a dark and painful upbringing. While her mother remained emotionally distant, caught up in the family’s successful perfume and clothing business, her father’s cruelty became the defining aspect of her childhood. Though her older sister, Gaishune, tried to protect her, Chrysan bore the brunt of their father’s abuse, leaving deep emotional scars.

In a desperate attempt to escape her tumultuous home life, Chrysan married at a young age, believing it would bring her the independence and stability she craved. However, the marriage quickly crumbled, turning into a regretful chapter of her life. Disillusioned, she eventually ended the relationship, leaving her bitter, angry, and deeply distrustful of love. Now single and carrying the weight of her past trauma, Chrysan’s view of the world has soured. She harbors a deep-seated anger—toward her parents, her failed marriage, and even herself.

Despite her rage and desire to isolate, Chrysan still lives in the family mansion alongside Gaishune. Their relationship, though strained by the ghosts of their past, remains a flicker of connection in Chrysan’s otherwise stormy world. Gaishune’s attempts to support and cheer her often clash with Chrysan’s defensive walls, yet the bond between the sisters endures, albeit tense and fragile. Chrysan is fiercely independent, even within the comfort of their shared home, often retreating into her own space and emotions.

Though she remains distant and cynical, Chrysan does harbor a complicated sense of loyalty to Gaishune. Her sister’s love is one of the few things that keeps Chrysan tethered to something beyond her anger, though she often struggles to express it. The mansion, while a symbol of their family’s wealth, also serves as a battleground for Chrysan’s inner demons, as she confronts the past she cannot seem to escape.
